This is one of Venice's largest churches, a minor basilica built in Venetian Gothic style that houses significant works of art including two major altarpieces by Titian and sculptures by Donatello. Visitors come to see the imposing interior with its grand wall monuments to Venetian Doges and other distinguished citizens, as well as the rare rood screen that survives from the Venetian Gothic period.
