
Belgrad Forest is a 5,524-hectare mixed deciduous forest adjacent to Istanbul that serves as one of the city's most visited recreational areas, featuring mixed oak forests, historical Ottoman aqueducts and reservoirs, and scenic trails. Visitors hike, jog, and walk through numerous pathways to explore the forest terrain, view historic ruins and aqueducts like the Maǧlova Aqueduct, and visit attractions such as the Atatürk Arboretum with over 2,000 plant species.
