The Phuket Big Buddha is a 45-metre-tall seated Buddha statue made of concrete and covered with white marble, located atop Nakkerd Hill near Chalong and facing Ao Chalong Bay. Completed in 2014, it is Thailand's third-tallest statue and serves as the main Buddha of Wat Kitthi Sankaram temple. Visitors ascend the hill to view this landmark, which was declared a Buddhist Treasure of Phuket in 2008.
