A historic funicular railway connecting Como to the hilltop village of Brunate, inaugurated in 1894 and converted to electric traction in 1911. Visitors ascend to Brunate to enjoy panoramic views of Como, Milan, Varese, Lecco, and the surrounding Lombardy region.
