A municipal history museum housed in the neo-Gothic Maison du Roi (King's House) building on Brussels' Grand-Place, established in 1887 and dedicated to the city's history from its foundation to modern times. The museum displays over 7,000 items including paintings, sculptures, tapestries, engravings, and scale models, notably featuring a representation of medieval Brussels and the original Manneken Pis statue on its top floor.
