The Colònia Güell Church Crypt is the lower, partially completed nave of an ambitious modernist church designed by Antoni Gaudí for a textile factory complex founded in 1890. Visitors experience a striking interior featuring a central dome supported by basalt columns, brick and stone vaults, and stained glass windows by Josep M. Jujol, all designed to evoke a natural grotto with symbolic progression from earthly darkness to celestial light.
