The ETH Zurich Observatory houses a permanent exhibition of historical astronomical instruments in its foyer, including the original refractor telescope from 1864 and instruments used by observatory founder Rudolf Wolf for studying sunspots. Visitors can view these important scientific artifacts from the observatory's research era, open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., or book guided group tours through ETH Zurich Tours.
