Independence Hall is the house where David Ben-Gurion declared the establishment of the State of Israel on May 14, 1948, originally built by Tel Aviv's first mayor Meir Dizengoff. Visitors see the precisely restored historic hall with period photographs, the portrait of Herzl, original declaration ceremony recordings, and documents related to Israel's founding.
