Caminito is an open-air museum street of nearly 150 meters lined with colorfully painted conventillos (tenement buildings) and cobblestones, recognized as one of the most photographed places in the world. The street was restored in 1959 and named after the famous tango of the same name, featuring sculptures and artworks that reflect the neighborhood's Italian heritage and cultural history.
