This is an artist-in-residence program on Mackinac Island that provides free housing and studio space for selected artists across all mediums to create work inspired by the island's history and natural beauty. Residents receive a two-week stay in a remodeled historic building overlooking the Straits of Mackinac and are expected to give one public presentation and contribute one finished work to Mackinac State Historic Parks.
