Medinet Habu is the mortuary temple complex of Ramesses III, located on the West Bank of the Nile near Luxor, Egypt, and represents one of the largest and best-preserved New Kingdom temple structures. Visitors come to see its monumental architecture, artistic reliefs, and inscribed scenes depicting the Battle of the Delta and the defeat of the "sea peoples" during Ramesses III's reign (c. 1186–1155 BC).
