Frederik's Church, popularly known as the Marble Church, is an Evangelical Lutheran church featuring Scandinavia's largest church dome with a 31-metre span, displaying Roman Baroque architecture with gold window frames and ornate statuary. Visitors can view the colorful fresco inside the dome ceiling, statues of prominent theologians and Danish historical figures circling the grounds, and works by sculptor Thorvaldsen, while experiencing a landmark monument to Danish ecclesiastical history completed in 1894.
