Menara Gardens is a historic public garden and orchard established in 1157 around a central water basin and reservoir, featuring a 19th-century pleasure pavilion framed against the High Atlas Mountains. Visitors come to see the iconic reservoir and pavilion, which are considered one of the symbolic views of Marrakesh, and to experience the restored orchards that have been part of the city's landscape for nearly nine centuries.
