Monserrate Sanctuary is a Roman Catholic minor basilica located in Bogotá, Colombia, built between 1650 and 1657 at an elevation of 3,152 metres (10,341 ft) above sea level. Visitors come to this shrine dedicated to the Fallen Lord and Our Lady of Monserrate to experience the religious site and its elevated position overlooking the city.
