Multnomah Falls is a 620-foot waterfall, the highest in Oregon and second-highest year-round waterfall in the nation, with the upper fall plunging 542 feet. The historic lodge, completed in 1925, offers a restaurant, gift shop, and access to hiking trails ranging from moderate 2.2-mile hikes to difficult 5.4-mile trails with significant elevation gain. Visitors come to view the spectacular waterfall, dine at the restaurant, and explore the natural beauty of the Columbia River Gorge.
