Founded in 1985, this philatelic museum preserves and displays postal stamp collections from around the world, Costa Rica's historical emissions including the first stamp from 1863, and thematic exhibitions on topics ranging from ecology to sport. Visitors can interact with real telegraphs and early 20th-century magnetic telephones while exploring stamps organized in rooms dedicated to different regions and themes, from world astronomy to Costa Rican history of the 1960s-70s.
