The Royal Palace of Brussels is the King's administrative residence and main workplace where he receives representatives of political institutions, foreign guests, and heads of state. The palace contains ornate reception rooms spanning centuries of architectural styles, from 18th-century Austrian imperial design to 19th-century renovations, and hosts state ceremonies, concerts, and official functions. Public access is available by virtual tour; in-person visits traditionally occur each summer after July 21st through September, though the palace is currently closed for major renovations until summer 2026.
