The Saadian Tombs are a historic royal necropolis dating primarily to the late 16th century reign of Sultan Ahmad al-Mansur, featuring elaborately decorated mausoleum chambers regarded as the high point of Moroccan Saadian architecture. Visitors can view ornate interior chambers including the Chamber of the Twelve Columns with its luxurious decoration and marble tombstones of Saadian dynasty members and their family.
