Mont Salève is a 1097m peak overlooking Geneva, located entirely in France despite being known as Geneva's local mountain. Visitors hike a 7km trail through Swiss villages of Sierne and Veyrier before crossing into France to climb the mountain, with the option to descend via cable car from the summit.
