Ösch Alp (Lombachalp) is an untouched alpine pasture and protected moorland nature reserve above Habkern in the Bernese Oberland, featuring one of Switzerland's most impressive upland moor landscapes. Visitors hike through this national-importance protected area to observe rare wildlife and birds, with marked trails leading past snow-laden firs and mountain pines in winter, or hike to the Augstmatthorn in summer across dew-glistened moorland grasses.
