The Scuola Grande di San Rocco is a lay confraternity founded in 1478 that houses over 60 paintings by Tintoretto depicting episodes from the New and Old Testaments, preserved in their original architectural setting. As the only surviving historic Scuola Grande from Venice's republic era, visitors experience a unique artistic and devotional space where the confraternity continues its charitable work today.
