Sycamore Canyon is a remote swimming hole within Coconino National Forest near Camp Verde, Arizona, featuring clear pools in a redrock canyon carved by Sycamore Creek. Visitors hike down steep terrain and creek crossings to reach towering amber and sienna-colored canyon walls lined with cottonwood trees and cold, clear water ideal for swimming. The primitive, unofficial site remains uncrowded and unspoiled, best visited in spring through early summer when water flow and temperatures are ideal.
