Tanah Lot is a Hindu sea temple dedicated to the sea gods, built on a rocky outcrop in Tabanan, approximately 20 kilometers from Denpasar. The temple, founded in the 16th century, remains a functioning place of worship where visitors can explore the surrounding rocky shores and tide pools, with access to the temple base varying by tide conditions. The site is known for dramatic sunset views over the ocean and is one of seven sea temples along Bali's coast.
