Templo Mayor was the main temple of the Aztec capital Tenōchtitlan, dedicated to the gods Huitzilopochtli and Tlaloc, measuring approximately 100 by 80 meters at its base. Visitors can explore the excavated archaeological site showing seven stages of construction and the adjoining museum housing over 7,000 artifacts including stone carvings, obsidian tools, ceramic vessels, and gold objects discovered during excavations beginning in 1978.
