The Gap is an ocean cliff at South Head in Watsons Bay facing the Tasman Sea, formed from Sydney sandstone and featuring dramatic cliff views. Visitors can access clifftop walks, view seabirds nesting on the cliff face, and visit a chapel dedicated in 1962 to service personnel, with the area having been open to the public since 1990 as part of Sydney Harbour National Park.
