The W.W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory, opened in 1908 at Wright Park, is one of only three Victorian-style conservatories on the West Coast and houses a permanent collection of tropical plants including ferns, palms, orchids, bromeliads, and rare endangered species alongside changing floral exhibits. Located within Tacoma's historic 27-acre Wright Park arboretum featuring native and exotic trees over 100 years old, visitors can leisurely stroll the grounds and enjoy family amenities including a playground and sprayground.
