Combine a hike to Punta Pitt's red-tinted volcanic tuff cone — the only site with all three booby species nesting together — with an afternoon snorkel at Kicker Rock.
What to expect
A morning panga ride to Punta Pitt's beach is followed by a moderate hike up eroded red and green volcanic slopes, past nesting blue-footed, red-footed, and Nazca boobies within arm's reach. After a boxed lunch onboard, the boat repositions to Kicker Rock for an afternoon snorkel among rays and reef fish. The day ends with a scenic cruise back along San Cristobal's cliffs.
Good to know
This is the longest excursion option and only suits travelers comfortable with a full day at sea and a moderate hike; confirm pickup timing carefully against your ship's schedule.
