Corcovado's Sirena Station: Private Naturalist Day Trek

Boat into the most biologically intense place on Earth (per National Geographic) with a certified naturalist. Tapirs, scarlet macaws, and four monkey species in one walk.

What to expect

You'll take an early boat transfer across Golfo Dulce to the Sirena ranger station, the wildest and least-visited sector of Corcovado. Your guide will use a spotting scope to find tapirs at the airstrip clearing and troops of squirrel monkeys overhead. Trails are muddy and humid, but the payoff is genuine primary rainforest with none of the crowd. Lunch is a packed local meal eaten streamside.

Good to know

Full-day commitment (8-10 hours) — confirm your ship's all-aboard time before booking, as this is the tightest-margin excursion on the list. Wear closed-toe water shoes; park entry permits must be reserved days ahead.
