A fast, small-group RIB run along the wilder Treshnish coastline focused on white-tailed sea eagles, grey seals and dramatic sea caves, away from the main puffin-tour crowds.
What to expect
The RIB threads close to sea cliffs and skerries where grey seals haul out and Britain's largest bird of prey, the reintroduced white-tailed sea eagle, is regularly spotted overhead. The pace is brisk and the group small, so the skipper can divert quickly when eagles are sighted. It's a rawer, more adrenaline-driven alternative to the standard puffin-and-cave circuit.
Good to know
Wear warm waterproof layers — RIBs are exposed and fast. Not recommended for those with back issues; check trip length against your ship's departure time.
