Paddle the tidal waters of Frobisher Bay with an experienced Arctic guide, past icebergs and seabird cliffs, in near-24-hour summer light.
What to expect
You'll launch from a quiet inlet and paddle calm coastal water with views of the tundra bluffs and, ice conditions permitting, drifting bergy bits. Your guide reads tides and weather constantly and adjusts the route for safety and sightings — seals and seabirds are frequent. Groups are kept small, typically four to six kayaks.
Good to know
Weather-dependent; confirm morning-of with the outfitter. Wetsuits/drysuits and safety briefing included; wear warm base layers underneath. Timed departures are built around ship arrival for a full window before all-aboard.
