What to expect

Sightings aren't guaranteed but are frequent in season, and the scale of the icebergs up close is genuinely humbling. It's as much about the coastline and solitude as the wildlife itself.

Best in late spring/early summer for icebergs, summer for whales. Dress warmly regardless of season — open water is cold even in July. Confirm departure point and return timing carefully against ship's schedule.
