What to expect
A short jungle boardwalk through dipterocarp forest, alive with birdsong, opens onto a pool of startling, clear jade-green water fed by underground springs. After swimming, a five-minute trail leads to the smaller, cooler Blue Pool, usually near-empty even at midday. Your guide can point out hornbills and gibbons calling overhead.
Good to know
Go early — by 11am tour groups arrive en masse. Bring reef-safe sunscreen and don't apply it before swimming, as the pool is a protected spring. Roughly 90 minutes from Krabi town each way.
