What to expect
Inside, you'll first pass the Radovan portal and a dim, incense-scented nave before finding the tower entrance. The climb is tight and vertiginous in places, three levels of increasingly narrow stairs and ladders. At the top, a small bell platform opens onto full 360-degree views of the old town's terracotta rooftops and the Adriatic.
