Explore one of Asia's most extraordinary private museums — a nine-storey architectural marvel housing over 4,000 artefacts spanning Kerala's 3,000-year cultural history — with an expert guide for an unparalleled immersion into the region's soul.
What to expect
The museum building itself is an artwork — constructed entirely from reclaimed temple wood, antique teakwood pillars, and 18th-century carved doors sourced from across Kerala. Nine themed floors guide you through tribal art, medieval temple craftsmanship, traditional jewellery, and performing arts paraphernalia. Your expert guide contextualises everything, drawing connections between ancient traditions and Kerala's living culture. Allow two to three hours to do justice to the collection.
