What to expect
Depart Cairns marina at 8 am and reach the vivid outer ribbon reefs by mid-morning. Three reef sites — each selected for clarity and marine diversity — offer multiple guided dives or unlimited snorkel time. A hot buffet lunch is served on deck between dives, with a marine biologist narrating the ecosystem throughout. Back in port by 5 pm, well before any all-aboard.

Pre-book dives and wetsuit hire directly on the Quicksilver website to secure space — introductory dive spots fill weeks ahead. Bring only reef-safe sunscreen; regular sunscreen is prohibited on board. Port departs from Cairns Marlin Marina, approximately 10 minutes from the cruise terminal.
