What to expect
A Welcome to Country smoking ceremony opens the walk, cleansing guests and setting a tone of profound respect. Your Kuku Yalanji guide leads you through emerald rainforest to the sacred gorge, explaining plant medicines, Dreamtime stories, and traditional hunting techniques with quiet authority. Swimming in the crystal-clear rock pools of the Mossman River is included. A traditional damper and tea ceremony concludes the experience at the Gorge Centre.

Dreamtime Walks depart at 08:00, 10:00, 11:30, 13:00, and 14:30 — multiple slots fit around any all-aboard time. Shuttle from Mossman Gorge Centre car park is mandatory (AUD 8.60 return). Pre-book online; private group bookings available. Wear comfortable walking shoes and insect repellent.
