MAZDA Museum: Engineering Heritage & Factory Floor Tour

Step inside the beating heart of Hiroshima's greatest industrial legacy on an exclusive factory floor tour at the MAZDA Museum — tracing the brand's rise from near-atomic-bomb destruction to global automotive icon, with live assembly-line access unavailable to the general public.

What to expect

Your guided tour (approximately 90 minutes, English available) opens in the heritage showroom where the original three-wheeled Mazda-Go of 1931 stands alongside rotary-engine legends and concept vehicles. You then step onto the Ujina Plant assembly floor — robots and humans working in choreographed precision building the latest models in real time, a spectacle of engineering that even non-car enthusiasts find mesmerising. The tour concludes with the brand's powerful post-war narrative: MAZDA's Ujina plant was one of only a handful of Hiroshima buildings to survive the blast, and the company became a cornerstone of the city's remarkable reconstruction. A visit to the showroom boutique rounds out the experience.
