Standing 30 metres taller than Niagara, Montmorency Falls is Québec's most dramatic natural spectacle. Cross the suspension bridge above the thundering cascade, then ascend via ferrata or soar over the gorge on the zipline.
What to expect
The park sits just 12 km from the cruise pier, making it an easy taxi or rideshare away. Begin with the panoramic cable car ride to the clifftop for the full aerial perspective of the 83-metre cascade. The suspension bridge puts you directly over the gorge — mist on your face, thunder in your ears. Via ferrata climbers clip into secured iron rungs along the cliff face for a guided vertical ascent, while zipline riders launch across the canyon at exhilarating speed. The surrounding old-growth forest is equally spectacular.
Good to know
Pre-book via ferrata and zipline slots on the Sépaq website — they sell out on high-season port days. Wear sturdy footwear. The site is stroller/wheelchair accessible for the bridge and viewpoints. Taxi from port roughly CAD 25 each way; return in time for all-aboard.
