Trek through lush tropical jungle to Ba Ho's three-tiered cascades — a series of emerald natural pools and cliff jumps hidden 25 km north of the city. This is Nha Trang's great secret: raw, wild, and utterly untouched by mass tourism.
What to expect
Your private driver collects you at the pier and heads north along the coast road before cutting inland through cashew and rubber plantations. The 45-minute jungle trail follows a rocky stream bed, crossing log bridges and scrambling over boulders to reach the first pool. Each successive pool is larger and more dramatic — the uppermost is a crystal-clear basin ideal for swimming and cliff-jumping from 3–5 m ledges. Your guide points out jungle flora and prepares a simple picnic of baguette, fruit, and Vietnamese iced coffee at the pools. Return by 14:00 for a comfortable all-aboard margin.
Good to know
Wear quick-dry shorts and water-shoes or old trainers — the trail is slippery. Go on a weekday for maximum solitude. Best in dry season (Jan–Aug); check trail conditions if visiting Sep–Dec. The journey is 45 minutes each way — confirm ship departure time before booking. Avoid if mobility is limited.
