Weave through Nha Trang's vibrant backstreets on the back of a motorbike with a passionate local foodie guide, stopping at neighbourhood stalls and family-run eateries that serve the freshest grilled seafood, bánh mì, and bún cá in the city — experiences impossible to find on foot.
What to expect
Your guide meets you at the pier and you hop on the back of a classic Honda motorbike for a sensory tour of the city. First stop is Xóm Cồn market at its morning peak: mountains of just-caught tiger prawns, squid, and sea snails laid out by fisherwomen. You taste grilled scallops with spring onion oil at a harbourside stall, then move to a hidden alley famous for bánh căn (tiny rice pancakes with quail egg). The tour concludes at a rooftop café with Vietnamese iced coffee and sweeping bay views — the perfect send-off before returning to the ship.
Good to know
Helmets are provided and mandatory. Inform your guide of any dietary restrictions when booking. The tour is best in the morning (08:00–12:00) when markets are liveliest. Allow 3.5–4 hours; most tours return well before a 17:00 all-aboard. Book 24–48 hours in advance to secure your preferred guide.
