National Quilt Museum: World's Premier Fiber Art Experience

Walk through the world's largest quilt museum, where over 650 breathtaking quilts hang like painted masterpieces across three galleries. A bucket-list pilgrimage for anyone who loves art, craft, or American heritage.

What to expect

You enter a climate-controlled sanctuary where quilts spanning floor-to-ceiling walls stop you cold with their intricacy and color. Rotating exhibitions showcase both historic American quilts and cutting-edge contemporary fiber art, so no two visits are the same. Docents are passionate enthusiasts who can decode the symbolism and technique behind each piece. Plan at least 90 minutes to do the three floors justice.
