What to expect
A private vehicle collects you from the port and winds through the wild Mani landscape to Vlychada. Pre-book as cave entry tickets are strictly capacity-controlled — walk-ins are routinely turned away in season. Allow 3.5–4 hours total from port. All-aboard is typically early evening; a morning departure is strongly advised.
