Karnak & Luxor Temples: Twilight Private Tour with Egyptologist

Walk the Avenue of Sphinxes connecting two of the ancient world's greatest temple complexes — Karnak and Luxor — at golden hour, when tour groups thin and the sandstone glows amber. An after-dark visit to Karnak's sound-and-light spectacle caps the evening.

What to expect

Your guide meets you at Qena port and drives you 60 km to Luxor East Bank. Begin with Karnak in late afternoon — the scale of the Great Hypostyle Hall, with its 134 massive columns, is humbling even for seasoned travellers. Walk the recently restored 3 km Sphinx Avenue to Luxor Temple as the sun sets and floodlights ignite the ancient stone. Optional: stay for the Karnak Sound and Light Show before returning to ship.
