Konoko Falls & Gardens: Rios' Hidden Gem Nature Walk

A beautifully curated private garden park wrapping around four tiers of cascading falls, Konoko is Ocho Rios' most serene natural attraction — a meditative counterpoint to the region's more crowded landmarks.

What to expect

Your guide leads you through immaculately kept botanical gardens — heliconia, ginger lily, orchids, and towering bamboo — before the path opens onto a series of four dramatically different waterfall tiers. Swim in a natural pool at the base of the main cascade, then ascend to hilltop terraces with sweeping views across the Saint Ann hills and a glimpse of the sea. Resident animals — iguanas, parrots, and Jamaican boas — share the grounds. The whole experience feels like a private estate.

Good to know

Konoko is just 10 minutes from the pier. Water shoes and a towel are recommended for the swim. Mornings are quietest — aim to arrive by 9 am. The VIP guided option should be requested directly via email or phone at booking.
