Ride in a chauffeured Mercedes minivan to Positano — the most photogenic village on earth — for private boutique shopping, a swim at Spiaggia Grande, and a guided limoncello tasting at a family distillery using Sfusato Amalfitano lemons grown on the cliffs above you.
What to expect
Your driver navigates the legendary corniche road — cliffs plunging to the sea on one side, lemon groves on the other — with a running commentary on every village you pass. In Positano, you have unrushed time to browse the iconic hand-painted ceramics, the bespoke sandal-makers of Via del Brigantino, and the linen boutiques that dress the world's best-dressed. A local limoncello family welcomes you into their terrace factory; you taste three expressions alongside local pastries. The afternoon is yours for a swim at the famous black-sand beach.
Good to know
Positano is approximately 18 km west of Amalfi — allow 30–45 minutes each way depending on summer traffic. Depart no later than 9 am to secure maximum time in town and beach. The return road can be slow in peak season; confirm your all-aboard time and build in a 45-minute buffer. Book the private van at least 2 weeks in advance in July and August.
