Coron Bay holds one of the world's great wreck-diving graveyards — a fleet of Japanese supply ships sunk in a single 1944 US airstrike. Descend on the massive Okikawa Maru tanker and the hauntingly intact Skeleton Wreck with an expert local dive guide.
What to expect
Kit up at the Coron Divers base, then motor across the glassy bay to your first wreck. The Okikawa Maru lies at 10–28 m, her vast hull blanketed in vibrant soft corals and patrolled by batfish and barracuda. The Skeleton Wreck (Kogyo Maru) rewards with intact engines and dramatic swim-throughs. Your guide narrates the 1944 raid history both above and below water. Surface intervals are taken on deck with cold towels and local fruit.
