El Fuerte: Colonial Gem & the Birthplace of Zorro

El Fuerte is ~90 km from port (~1.5 hr drive). Allow at least 5–6 hours total. Book a private bilingual guide through the hotel in advance. Return easily before a standard all-aboard time if you depart port by 8 am.
