Your artisan guide walks you through every stage of production — from the pasture where the island's own Canadienne-cross cattle graze on salt-tinged grasses, to the aging caves where wheels of Pied-de-Vent and Tomme des Demoiselles develop their complex island terroir. The tasting session that follows is generous and unhurried, accompanied by local bread and preserves. The farm shop offers bottles of local wine and charcuterie to take back aboard.
