Amalfi Coast Private Drive: Positano, Ravello & Amalfi Town

Ride the world's most spectacular coastal road in a private luxury Mercedes, stopping for espresso in pastel-stacked Positano, hilltop garden concerts in Ravello, and an ancient cathedral in Amalfi. The views alone justify the journey.

What to expect

Your private Mercedes departs Sorrento and immediately joins the SS163 — a ribbon of tarmac cut into vertical cliffs above a turquoise sea. In Positano you descend to the beach-front piazza for coffee and boutique browsing among the bougainvillea-draped lanes. Ravello rewards you with the Villa Cimbrone's 'Terrace of Infinity', an impossibly beautiful clifftop garden. In Amalfi town, the gilded Duomo di Sant'Andrea commands the main piazza. Your driver waits throughout and returns you to Sorrento port in time for all-aboard.

Good to know

The coastal road is narrow and sometimes congested in peak summer — start early (by 8:00–8:30am) to beat traffic. Pre-book a restaurant in Positano or Ravello for lunch: Ristorante Max in Positano is a reliable luxury choice. The full circuit takes 7–8 hours; confirm your all-aboard time with the operator when booking.
