Slip beneath the surface alongside the world-famous jetty piles and fin past a surreal underwater sculpture trail draped in soft corals and swarming with fish. One of Australia's most extraordinary snorkel experiences, all within Geographe Bay's sheltered, crystal-clear waters.
What to expect
A small boat ferries you alongside the historic jetty piles, whose submerged timbers have been colonised by one of the most species-rich temperate reefs in the world. Certified guides point out leafy sea dragons, blue-throated wrasse and the eerie sculpture installations. All snorkel equipment — mask, fins, wetsuit — is provided. No scuba certification required; calm bay conditions suit all comfort levels.
Good to know
Tours are seasonal and weather-dependent; book directly with Busselton Jetty as early as possible. Wetsuits are provided but bringing a rash vest adds comfort. Return to the jetty entrance well before all-aboard — factor 2.5 hours total. Not suitable for non-swimmers.
